The International Max-Planck Research School for Immunobiology andDevelopment (IMPRS-IBD) of the Max-Planck Institute of Immunobiologyand the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg in Germany invitessuitable candidates to apply for a position in our exciting newInternational PhD programme, which is going to start in October 2006in Freiburg, Germany.
We invite applications from all countries. Applicants must hold aBachelors degree with honours (Bsc Hons), a Masters degree or aDiplom (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, medicine,chemistry, or related fields. It is not necessary to hold the degreeat the point of application. However, you must have been awardedyour degree prior to the start of the program in October 2006.Candidates have to be fluent in written and spoken English anddocument their proficiency in English (TOEFL). German is notrequired.
The applications are reviewed by the selection committee of theResearch School. Based on their academic qualification, motivation,suitability to the program and on 2 letters of recommendation,candidates are selected for personal interviews in Freiburg.
