Germany: Doctoral Student Position in Macroeconomics at University of Mannheim
The Mannheim Research Institute for the Economics of Aging (MEA) issearching for a graduate level academic researcher for its Research Unit”Macroeconomics”. MEA was founded to help evaluate, anticipate andaccompany the micro- and macroeconomic aspects of demographic change.Among the aims of the research unit is to develop and administermacroeconomic simulation models that help to predict these developments.Future research will have a strong focus on various risk aspects involved.
Besides profound knowledge in macroeconomics, strong interest inquantitative methods, numerical techniques and economic applications isrequired. The completion of a Ph.D. thesis is expected and will besupported.
