UCIT has opened a call for 9 funded 4-year positions for doctoral studentsfrom the beginning of 2006. The application procedure is explained athttp://www.cs.uta.fi/ucit/applications.html

UCIT is a multi-disciplinary Graduate School in User-Centered InformationTechnology. It is based in Tampere, Finland, where it is a jointundertaking of three departments of the University of Tampere, and threeinstitutes of the Tampere University of Technology. The selection of students for the funded positions will be based ondemonstrated success in previous studies (and research, if applicable),quality of the research plan, and suitability of the research topic to thethemes and goals of UCIT.

Deadline of applications is October 31, 2005.Students wishing to join UCIT but with secured funding from other sourcescan apply continuously.
