Scholarship Description
The Faculty of Economics & Business is offering up to fivescholarships for outstanding candidates to engage in full-time PhDstudies within the Faculty for commencement in Semester Two, 2005. Eachscholarship is valued at AUD$25,000 p.a. Applicants must not be currentholders of any other Scholarship. However, the Faculty may considerawarding ‘top-up' scholarships (e.g. top-up to APAs) - but there willbe a very limited number of these. The scholarships are tenable for upto three years with the possibility of a six month extension.Applicants must have completed at least 4 years of tertiary education(or equivalent) and have obtained First class honours (or equivalent).Where a First class honours degree is not achieved, evidence ofoutstanding research achievements or credentials must be provided.Applicants must have also applied for entry into the PhD programme inthe Faculty. To be undertaken at The University of Sydney.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (maximum per annum).This award is to be used for living expenses.This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent.There are no restrictions on citizenship.
