Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)

Scholarship Description

The Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training makes available each year a number of scholarships for study leading to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy or to a Master of Philosophy.

Competition for the Scholarships is intense and it is very rare for a Scholarship to be awarded for study at the Master degree level.

Successful applicants will study in areas in which the University has shown a particular research strength and will, in most instances, become one of a group of graduate students forming part of a research team working with senior researchers.

Applicants must be able to take up the Scholarship in Canberra not later than 31 March in the year for which it is awarded.

PhD, Professional Doctorate by Research, MPhil

Eligibility:

Bachelor's degree with first-class honours, or a research Master's degree from a recognized university
International Students

Other Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants cannot normally be considered for an IPRS if they have already commenced a program of study in Australia at the same level for which the scholarship is sought.
