Executive Master’s in International Logistics

General Information
The Georgia Institute of Technology and its Executive Master’s in International Logistics (EMIL) will offer one EMIL Asia-Pacific Scholarship to one incoming participant. On March 7, 2005, Georgia Tech will award this scholarship of US$20,000 to be applied towards tuition for the class starting May 2005. The scholarship award winner will be a professional living and working in the Asia-Pacific region with demonstrated career success, a clear potential for leadership and a desire to fully participate in EMIL’s intense educational experience.

Executive Master’s in International Logistics

Key Dates:
* Thursday, February 11, 2005 : Scholarship applications must be submitted electronically through www.emil.gatech.edu by 5pm EST on February 11, 2005.
* Thursday, February 11, 2005 : In addition to the scholarship application, you must complete all regular program admission applications. All program application materials must be submitted by 5pm EST on February 11, 2005. See Application Materials for details.
* February 24 - March 6, 2005 : Phone interviews with top scholarship candidates
* Monday, March 7, 2005 : Scholarship award winner announced.
* Monday, March 14, 2005 : Scholarship recipient must submit a scholarship acceptance letter by 5pm EST on March 14, 2005

Selection Criteria:
* Scholarship applicants must reside and do-business in an Asia-Pacific country as well as be admitted to EMIL as a degree-seeking student with program start date of May 2005.
* Scholarship applicants should have demonstrated career success, a clear potential for leadership and a desire to fully participate in EMILÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s intense educational experience.
* The criteria for selection will be based on academic performance, career experience, potential for future business leadership and financial need.
* Scholarship applicants will be judged using both the Scholarship and EMIL Applications (e.g. EMIL Application, Letters of Recommendation etc.)
* Only ONE scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $20,000 U.S., in allotments of $4,000 US per semester, to be applied towards EMIL TUITION over the duration of the 18-month program. The successful scholarship winner must be enrolled in 5 concurrent program semesters to receive full scholarship benefits.

Fulfillment Criteria:
* At the completion of his/her 18-month program, the scholarship winner must submit a case-study to his/her faculty advisory describing lessons learned or program deliverables implemented during his/her tenure in the program.
* The successful scholarship winner must be enrolled in 5 concurrent program semesters to receive full scholarship benefits.
* The scholarship winners must receive a C or better in all classes enrolled.
* The scholarship winner must adhere to standard university payment processes for the remainder of his/her EMIL tuition in order to be enrolled in classes each term.
