Doctoral Stipend from The Heinrich Böll Foundation, Berlin
TheHeinrich Böll Foundation in cooperation with the Graduate Schoolof Social Sciences (GSSS) at the University of Bremen is offering five doctoral stipends inthe following subject area:
Risksof exclusion and strategies of inclusion in expanded Europe
Theprogram promotes dissertation research on exclusion risks in expandedEurope as well on inclusion strategies and theireffects. Applications could (but need not) focus on one of the following themes:
•Destandardization of life and work
•Labor migration
•Regional Disparities.
Anchoredwithin the framework of the GSSS, the program offers intensive doctoral supervision anddedicated graduate curricular training both in theory and in qualitative andquantitative methods, embedded in an international context of partneruniversities.
Theduration of funding is three years, commencing on 1 October 2005. The program is open to MA-level graduates fromSocial Sciences.
