Denmark: Postdoc Researcher at Aarhus School of Business
The Department Marketing and Statistics at Aarhus School of Businessinvites applications for the position as Post Doc Researcher as from 1November 2006.
The position is financed by an EU research project (Seafood Plus), andthe applicant’s research competence and interest should therefore mainlybe in the areas covered by the project, namely consumer behaviour andproduct development management. The department furthermore expects theapplicant’s contribution to the department’s teaching and furtherresearch (i.e. beyond the project) to be within these areas. The postexpires at project termination, which is 30 June 2008.
The teaching load is expected to run into approximately 220 hours peryear, and furthermore a limited number of other department duties mayhave to be filled. Academic qualifications at the PhD level or similarare required.
The overall assessment will emphasize the applicant’s researchpotential. It is a prerequisite that the applicant pledges him/herselfto taking an active part in the department’s teaching and researchenvironment. As a result of the increasing internationalisation of ourprogrammes we expect applicants to be able to teach in English.
The application must contain • CV • Documented information on researchand teaching qualifications • A complete, numbered list of publicationsand working papers • A selection of five (5) research publicationsand/or working papers in hardcopy on which the applicant wishes to beevaluated. These must be marked by * on the list of publications andworking papers. • Co-author statements relating to the publicationsselected. Application and enclosures must be submitted in triplicate.
The applicants will be evaluated by an expert committee whose assessmentof each applicant will be sent to the person involved.
The appointment will be made in accordance with the agreement betweenthe Danish Ministry of Finance and the appointee’s organisation.
