TheUniversity of Hong Kong (HKU) is the leading research university inHong Kong, and one of the most prestigious in the Asia-Pacific Region.The Department of Computer Science (CS) at HKU provides the first-rateopportunities for postgraduate study in computer science.

Applicationsare invited from prospect candidates for admission to ourinternationally recognized postgraduate programmes leading to thedegrees of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Philosophy (MPhil)in Computer Science.

2. Requirements

Applicantsneed to have a background related to computer science, and todemonstrate adequate English proficiency, with at least a paper-basedscore of 550 (or computer-based score of 213) in TOEFL if the firstdegree is not from an English-speaking institution. Good scores in GREare highly desirable.

4. Financial Support

Asuccessful candidate for full-time study is offered a financial supportof around HK$150,000 annually through postgraduate studentship duringthe specified period of study.
