PhD Position: Real Time Embedded Systems, GE Global Research Center, Shanghai, China

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD or MS with 3 plus years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation, Embedded Systems or Signal Processing
  • 3+ years R&D experiences on embedded systems with DSP/MCU.
  • Ability to plan, design, implement, debug and optimize complex embedded control software implemented on micro-processors, DSP, FPGA and ASICs
  • Strong software skills - C, C++
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in advanced signal processing techniques including filter design, adaptive filtering, time and frequency domain analysis with project experience related to industry applications.
  • Familiar with ultrasound theory, ECG/EEG signal processing, transducer physics is a plus, but not necessary
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem solving skills * Excellent language skills with English reading, speaking and writing
  • High energy with passion for excellence

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of real-time embedded systems, digital signal processing.
  • Perform architecture research, system analysis, design, programming and testing
  • Communicate with global teams to understand the requirements, and help with the specifications.
