The Ian Wark Research Institute welcomes applications for vacationscholarships from students who have consistently achieved a high levelof academic performance in their degree program. As a minimumrequirement, students must have completed the first year of theirdegree program.

Scholarships apply for upto two months (usually between the December - February period) andenable successful applicants to work with one or more strong researchsectors in the Institute. The tax-free stipend is $300 per week. 

Applicants are encouraged to visit The Wark, to view our facilities, andto meet some of our research staff and postgraduate students. Project outlines are discussed and developedin conjunction with successful applicants prior to commencement.
