The University of Newcastle International Postgraduate ResearchScholarships(UNIPRS)

The University of Newcastle, Australia, is pleased to announce thecommencement of the UNIPRS scheme. These scholarships will be awardedto high calibre international applicants based on merit. The scholarshipcovers tuition fees and a living allowance will also be provided by theFaculty in which the scholarship recipient is enrolled.

To be eligible for an UNIPRS, the applicant must:

• Be a commencing student in Semester 2, 2006 or Semester 1,2007.
• Normally not have previously held a research scholarship.
• Submit a completed Application Form.
• Meet the University’s English language proficiencyrequirements by the application deadline (that is, applicants mustprovide evidence of English language proficiency by September 30, 2006otherwise their applications will not be considered).

Please note that the deadline for UNIPRS applications is September 30,2006.
