Wewould appreciate your support in the dissemination of information topotential candidates, who may be eligible for financial support for aMasters or PhD in the area of Public Relations or CommunicationsManagement.
Prospectivecandidates from areas such as Public Relations, CommunicationManagement, Marketing and Advertising are encouraged to apply; however,they will need to be prepared to undertake their research studies inPublic Relations or Communication Management.

Conditions of Application:
Normally,International applications for other UniSA scholarships close at theend of August. However, all applications, both International andAustralian are open till the 31st October for the Donald DyerScholarship.
TheScholarship applications will be competitive, therefore scholarshipapplicants will need to demonstrate, that they hold a first classhonors, and have written a substantial thesis of 20,000 words; orreceived a high merit in a Masters by research, and produced a writtenpiece of research of 40,000 words. Industry experience will beconsidered as part of the application. The scholarship for aninternational student will cover the cost of fees, and some livingallowance.
Thesis proposal:
Whenapplying, it is important to prepare the thesis topic with yourapplication. Prospective applicants will need to have written about5-11 pages as part of the thesis proposal submission.
Normallythe thesis proposal is refined and completed within the first sixmonths of candidacy; however, a clear demonstration of the candidatesarea of interest, needs to be presented to the scholarship panel. Yourcurriculum Vitae can contain information about refereed articles/paperssubmitted to journals or conferences.

Thesuccessful applicant for the Scholarship may have undergraduate (+honors) qualifications in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations;However, the successful candidate will be required to undertake theirresearch topic in the specific areas of public relations,communications management.

Mode of Study:
All International applicants will need to study in Australiain a full-time mode, due to Visa requirements Prospective Australianapplicants will be able to explore Part-time and external options aspart of the application.

Stipend:
Maybe increased to Aud$26,000, but is Aud$22,200 per annum (tax- free) atpresent for a full-time candidate. Part-time Australian candidates willreceive just over half the stipend to accommodate for tax purpose
