The Apex Foundation For Research into Intellectual Disability Limited is willing to receive applications for students from tertiary students who are studying for degrees below the level of Doctorate within Australia who are preparing theses as part of their studies. The awards are valued at up to $2000.

The conditions are that the subject of the theses must be related to intellectual disability, and that the thesis plan has been approved by the Department or Faculty within which the student is working.

Applications should take the form of a letter setting out a description of the studies being undertaken and a typed copy of the thesis plan, together with a supporting letter from the Head of the relevant Department. These must reach the Honorary Secretary, PO Box 311, Mt. Evelyn, Victoria, 3796, no later than 31 May 2006.
