AIT Institute Fellowships

The Asian Institute of Technology offers financial support for theMaster and Doctoral programs . Grants are provided on a competitivebasis, to applicants who are highly qualified for admission and who areable to produce a proof of financial need for their studies at AIT.Financial aid is intended to meet the students' basic financial needsand to help defray but not fully cover study costs. Support is alsoprovided for research.

Scholarships for Master's Degree Program :

  • 36-CreditFellowship covers tuition fees of US$ 11,700 to completecourses/research to earn 36 credits out of 48-credit Master's Degreeprogram. Applicants in the top 10% of their graduating class areeligible to apply for this fellowship. Students must payregistration/services fees and tuition fees for the first 12 creditsbefore receiving the fellowship.
  • 24-CreditFellowship covers tuition fees of US$ 7,800 to completecourses/research to earn 24 credits out of 48-credit Master's Degreeprogram. Applicants in the top 11% to 15% of their graduating class areeligible to apply for this fellowship. Students must payregistration/services fees and tuition fees for the first 24 creditsbefore receiving the fellowship.
  • 12-CreditFellowship covers tuition fees of US$ 3,900 to completecourses/research to earn 12 credits out of 48-credit Master's Degreeprogram. Applicants in the top 16-25% of their graduating class areeligible to apply for this fellowship. Students must payregistration/services fees and tuition fees for the first 36 creditsbefore receiving the fellowship.

Scholarships for Doctoral Degree Program :

  • 52-CreditFellowship covers tuition fees of US$ 16,900 to completecourses/research to earn 52 credits out of 84-credit Doctoral Degreeprogram. Students must pay registration/services fees and tuition feesfor the first 32 credits before receiving the fellowship.
  • 26-Credit Fellowship coverstuition fees of US$ 8,450 to complete courses/research to earn 26credits out of 84-credit Doctoral Degree program. Students must payregistration/services fees and tuition fees for the first 58 creditsbefore receiving the fellowship.

Any nationality

Qualification and Other Requirements
The candidate must hold a bachelor degree from an accreditedinstitution, having a standing within the top 25% of the graduatingclass and a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above (see above).

Application Procedure

  • Complete AIT application form ( http://www.ait.ac.th/AIT/admissions/forms.html ) and send completed form to AIT Admissions and Scholarship Office.
  • Make sure to attach all required documents. AIT will inform the applicants of the status of their application.
