Offered by NZAID, this scholarship is available to students from selected developing countries to study in New Zealand. The scholarship funds postgraduate study in areas of home country developmental relevance. It covers tuition fees, return airfare, basic living allowance, health care insurance and an arrival allowance. In some cases dependants may also be provided for under the scholarship. A list of the countries from which persons may apply can be found at www.nzaid.govt.nz.

Closing dates for the next funding round for study commencing February 2007:
* 15 May 06 for applicants from non-Pacific countries (although 01 May 06 recommended for PhD applications from non-Pacific countries)
* 15 July 06 for applicants from Pacific countries (although 01 July 06 recommended for PhD applications from Pacific countries)
