An NIH-funded post-doctoral position is available immediately to study neurons and circuits of the olfactory and limbic system. We are looking for a scientist to perform electrophysiological (patch-clamp) studies in olfactory bulb and amygdala slices from rats and mice.
Experiments will examine mechanisms of neuronal interactions and signaling. Experience with electrophysiology is required. Initial appointment is for 1 year with renewal for up to 3 years contingent on performance.
