USA: Postdoctoral Fellow in DNA Repair, University of Delaware
A postdoctoral position is available to study eukaryotic lesion-bypass DNA synthesis and DNA repair with a particular emphasis on the molecular mechanism of their regulation through posttranslational protein modification. Our group employs a myriad of biochemical, biophysical, structural & molecular biological approaches to examine proteins or protein complexes that function in various aspects of DNA/RNA transactions related to DNA synthesis and repair.
Requirements:
Successful candidate must be a highly motivated Ph.D. with strong backgrounds in biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology. Experiences with protein-DNA/RNA interactions, enzyme kinetics and baculovirus/insect cell culturing will be highly preferable.
Application
To apply please email a cover letter and resume to Dr. Zhihao Zhuang (zhihao@psu.edu) Please also arrange three (3) reference letters to be sent by email to the same email address.
