USA: Postdoc Position in Pediatric Nephrology and Renal Transplantation
Description: A Senior Postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Minnie Sarwal in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology and Renal Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine. The lab focuses on unraveling the underlying mechanisms in kidney diseases, kidney transplant rejection (acute and chronic) and tolerance, with the aim of determining molecular biomarkers for monitoring and treating transplant patients. The candidate should have a PhD with a strong background in immunology, genomics and molecular biology, and proficiency with basic laboratory techniques and computing (Microsoft applications, sequence analysis, and knowledge of basic statistics). Knowledge of microarray technology, microarray analysis and experience with relational databases will be a plus. Interaction with the Stanford Microarray Database staff and other collaborators brings an exciting opportunity to work on cutting edge research in transplant!
