USA: Householder Fellowship Position, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
The Computer Science and Mathematics Division at the Oak Ridge NationalLaboratory (ORNL) invites outstanding candidates to apply for theAlston S. Householder Fellowship in Scientific Computing. TheFellowship honors Dr. Alston S. Householder, founding director of theMathematics Division (now CSM) at ORNL and recognizes his seminalresearch contributions to the fields of numerical analysis andscientific computing.
Each Householder Fellowship is a two year appointment (renewable afterthe first year) that provides access to state-of-the-art computationalfacilities (high-performance workstations and parallel high performancearchitectures), and collaborative research opportunities in activeresearch programs in advanced scientific computing and computationalsciences of interest to US Department of Energy. The Fellowship offersa competitive salary, fringe benefits, and travel opportunities.
