USA: Fellowships in Museum Practice
The Smithsonian’s Fellowships in Museum Practice (FMP) program is anopportunity for mid- and senior-level museum personnel, researchers andtraining providers to spend time at the Smithsonian researching aparticular topic of interest that is relevant to their work and themuseum profession. The goal of the program is foster innovativescholarship and expand the availability of data that has the potentialto contribute to improvements in museum operations.
Fellowships are awarded annually for a period of up to 6 months. Anaward consists of a stipend of $3,000 per month plus round-trip travelexpenses between the recipient’s home and Washington, D.C.
