Three-year Postdoctoral Fellowships in Tropical Biology
To support research in ecology, anthropology, paleontology, evolutionarybiology, molecular phylogenetics, biogeography, animal behavior, soilsciences and physiology of tropical plants and animals. Research shouldbe based at one of STRI facilities, but proposals that includecomparative research on other tropical countries will be considered.Deadline - January 15, 2006.
Short-term Fellowships
Primarily for graduate students but awards are made occasionally toundergraduate and postdoctoral candidates. These fellowships enableselected candidates to work in the tropics and explore researchpossibilities at STRI. The Ernst Mayr Fellowship is awarded to anoutstanding short term fellowship candidate on an annual basis.Deadlines: 15 February, May, August, November.
