UK: Research Assistants in Decentralised Data and Information Systems – DDIS
The Department of Engineering Science is looking to appoint two post-doctoral Research Assistants to work on the above new project funded by the EPSRC. This project aims to develop techniques, methods and architectures for modelling, designing and building decentralised systems that can bring together information from a variety of heterogeneous sources in order to take informed actions.
The successful candidates will have a higher degree in a numerate subject (maths, physics, engineering or computing), together with computing skills. A good understanding of machine learning, data analysis or pattern analysis and experience in MATLAB, C, C++ or Java are desirable.
The starting salary will be in the RA1A scale £19460 - £21640
