Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Scheduling, Artificial Intelligence & Operations Research
The successful candidate will investigate the potential of a variety ofnovel artificial intelligence and operational research methods, with anemphasis on mathematical modelling and heuristic optimisation, ingenerating the most appropriate model and simulation of theproductivity problem.
Candidates must have a PhD in a subject related to the project, i.e.mathematical modelling, (meta-) heuristic optimisation or simulation.
Salary will be within the range £19,460 - £21,640 per annum, dependingon qualifications and experience. This post will be offered on afixed-term contract for a period of 2½ years.
