Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Robotic Processing of Aerospace Components
The School of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering is a world leading centre for the development of advanced manufacturing technologies for aero-engines and is the home of both the Roll-Royce Transmissions and Structures and Manufacturing University Technology Centres. An opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow to work within the Robotics Research Group on the robotic processing of aerospace components.
Candidates must have a PhD in manufacturing engineering and have significant experience of robot applications and programming and the use of non-contact metrology systems.
Salary will be within the range £19,460 - £21,640 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of one year.
