UK: Postdoctoral Position in Evolutionary Anthropology

Applications are invited for a full-time post-doctoral research associate to work with Dr Bill Sellers on an NERC-funded collaborative research project Hominoid Energetics: Load Carrying and the Evolution of Human Bipedalism . You will possess research skills and experience in biological or evolutionary anthropology and will be able to demonstrate a research interest in primate locomotion, evolutionary anatomy and biomechanics. You should be suitably qualified in biological anthropology, preferably at the doctoral level. The appointment will be for 12 months in the first instance and may be extended for a further 24 months subject to satisfactory progress. You will join a world-class laboratory that is part of a multi-disciplinary programme in adaptive organismal biology, within a 5*-rated (RAE 2001) Faculty.
Salary:
circa £19,000 - £21,500 p.a.
