UK: Maudslay Research Fellowship in Engineering
The Maudslay Research Fellowship in Engineering was established to encourage the highest quality of research in any area of Engineering. The Research Fellow will develop and benefit from close links with the University’s Department of Engineering. Candidates for the Fellowship may be men or women. There is a preference for candidates under twenty-eight years of age but older applicants are not excluded. The tenure of the Fellowship will be for three years. The holder will be permitted to do a limited amount of teaching for the College, but would require the permission of the Governing Body to undertake other paid work. The stipend will be in the range of £18,332 - £19,460, adjusted to account for any increases between now and 1 October 2006 and any other relevant factors. Depending on whether or not the successful candidate chooses to live in or out of College, he or she will be provided with a set of rooms or a study and, if still a registered Graduate Student, substantial assistance towards payment of College and University fees.
