Post-Doc Position: Broad topics under 3DTV work, Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey

Must have a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or in closely related fields. Very strong background in analog and digital signal processing, mathematics, and preferably in optics and wave propagation. Will supervise graduate students, and assure that the Bilkent research team conducts the planned research activities to fulfill its role in the 3DTV project. Should be able to design and implement related research labs. Should be able to write related new research proposals for submission to various national and international funding bodies. Should promote and motivate paper and patent throughput of the team. Working knowledge and experience in MPEG-4 and basic digital video principles is desirable. Reports directly to the Project Coordinator. This is a temporary full-time position for the duration of the project. Depending on the preferences of the applicant, and the expected research workload, some teaching assignments may be arranged. Salary is competitive.
