Job description
The research project aims at the development of a method for precisegravity field determining using GNSS tracking data to low-orbitingsatellites.
Requirements
Candidates are expected to have a PhD degree in geodesy, aerospaceengineering, physics, or applied mathematics. Experience in (kinematic)satellite orbit & trajectory determination and precise positioningwith Global Navigation Satellite systems (GNSS) is preferable. Deepknowlegde of a state-of-the-art scientific software package for theprocessing of GNSS data is a must. Excellent programming skills inFORTRAN are expected. The chosen candidate will be an enthusiasticperson with good communicaton skills, including a good command ofwritten and spoken English. He or she has written several papers inpeer-reviewed scientific journals and is experienced in oralpresentations at scientific meetings. He or she must be open-minded andcapable of working independently and in a team.

Employment basis: Temporary for specified period
Duration of the contract: The appointment is for a period of three years.
Maximum hours per week: 38
Gross monthly salary can vary between 2179 en 3453 Euros depending on your qualification and expertise.
