Research Assistantship in Semi-Smart Antenna Technology

A vacancy exists for a suitably qualifiedResearch Assistant to carry out an investigation into development of asemi-smart antenna technology for cellular wireless communication systems under the supervision of DrXiaodong Chen and Professor Clive Parini. Applicants should have or about to obtain a Ph.D in a relevantdiscipline and have substantial skills in Microwave Antenna Engineering.  The work will also involve collaboration withindustrial partners.

 Theappointment is for 12 months and the successful applicant should be able tostart on 1 June 2005 or very soon thereafter.
