Academic-Related Research Staff Grade Ia: Salary £19,460 -£29,128 P.A.: The Radiology Research Group has an established researchprogramme in high technology imaging, including computed tomography andmagnetic resonance imaging. The Group is a member of the EuropeanConsortium in "Safety and Efficacy of Computed Tomography: a broadprospective", details of which can be found on the website: http://www.msct.info.The successful candidate will have previous practical experience inimaging physics, computing, informatics or the equivalent. The firstobjective of the appointment will be to support the Group's programmein developing a scientific evidence base for clinical dose constraintin computed tomography. The Radiology Research Group also has activecollaborations with the departments of Oromaxillary Surgery, Obstetricsand Gynaecology, Medical Physics, Human Anatomy and the UniversityPhonetics Laboratory. The successful candidate will be expected todevelop links with these departments as well as the other partners ofthe European Consortium. The post is available immediately, until theend of December 2007.
