A post-doctoral position is available in theMalaria Research Group at Trinity College, Dublin. The project willinvestigate degradation of host haemoglobin by the human malarialparasite Plasmodium falciparum and the mechanisms of antimalarialaction of protease inhibitors (see our web site at http://www.tcd.ie/Microbiology/page227.html).The project is supported by the Health Research Board. The position isavailable from 1 October, 2005 or sooner by arrangement, for six monthsin the first instance, renewable up to a total of three years subjectto satisfactory progress. The starting salary is €33285 p.a. pluspension contributions.
