Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Power Electronics or Materials Science for Photovoltaic Technology / Solar Energy, The University of Agder, Norway

The University of Agder invites applications for a fixed-term appointment as Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering and Science, for a period of three years from the starting date. The position is currently located in Grimstad, Norway. The starting date is negotiable.

We are looking for a person who has recently finished a PhD in Photovoltaic Technology or a similar field, either from the Power Electronics side (end use) or from the materials side (physics of photovoltaic cells). The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be given the opportunity to continue their research on Photovoltaic Technology, but is also expected to integrate closely with the existing research group at the university.

The position is remunerated in the Norwegian State salary plan 17.510, Postdoctoral Research Fellow code 1352, salary grades 57-64 (NOK 435.700 - 496.300). A 2 % compulsory pension contribution to the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund is deducted from the pay according to current statutory provisions.
