POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS 2005/2006 CALL FOR CANDIDATES
Two research fellowships are being offered to post-doctoral scholars orthose nearing the completion of their doctoral programme for twoacademic years, on a full-time basis, commencing October or November2005. These fellowships may be renewed for an additional two years bymutual agreement.
Candidates are offered the possibility of carrying out research on asubject of their choosing within the field of economics and finance inan environment that allows them to interact on a daily basis withfaculty, research staff and doctoral students. Individual offices arefurnished with the latest in technical equipment. According to theirindividual fields of specialisation, the chosen candidates may be askedto do some teaching in a doctoral programme and/or to follow one ormore dissertations. If they so wish, they may carry out their researchin close collaboration with one of the Foundation's research centres.
The fellowship is for the amount of 42,000 euros (gross) per annum.

The final selection will be made by a commission appointed by the Boardof the Foundation. The candidates selected will be notified by no laterthan 31 October 2005 and must confirm acceptance of the fellowship assoon as possible. In cases of refusal, the fellowship will immediatelybe offered to the next ranking candidate. The Foundation is under noobligation to award these fellowships should the candidatures receivednot be considered suitable.
