The Henry Moore Institute is a centre for the study of sculpture, withexhibition galleries, a library, archive and collection, as well as anactive research programme. As part of our aim to encourage and supportresearch projects in any area of sculpture studies, we are offering asmall number of short-term residential fellowships to enableestablished scholars to spend a period of time in Leeds.
Thefellowships are intended to give individuals the time and space todevelop a research project free from their usual work commitments, tointroduce them to the Institute and its staff, and to make connectionswith our research programme. Fellows are encouraged to use theresources of the Institute and Leeds University, but may also travelfurther afield where appropriate. We ask fellows to make a smallcontribution to the research programme of the Institute and theSculpture Studies MA at Leeds University, in the form of a talk orseminar. The Institute offers accommodation, travel expenses, and a perdiem, as well as the use of a study room and computer equipment.
Fellowships must be taken up and completed between 15 September 2005 and 1 April 2006.
