PhD / Postdoc Positions in Adaptive Wavelet Methods, TU Darmstadt, Germany
Within the DFG Priority Programme SPP 1324 the Department of Mathematics at the Technische Universität Darmstadt offers a PhD- or Postdoc-Position (Pos. No. 326), volume of employment 75%, for three years.
The candidate will work in a research project on Adaptive Wavelet Methods for Stochastic Partial Differential Equations, which is jointly carried out in Darmstadt (Prof. Ritter), Dresden (Prof. Schilling) and Marburg (Prof. Dahlke).
Applicants should have a strong background in probability theory (stochastic analysis) or numerical analysis (partial differential equations, wavelets). German language skills are helpful, but not necessary.
