A post doctoral scientist with skills in grid computing is being sought forthe beginning of 2007.

The candidate will have strong background in algorithm and objectprogramming with applications achieved in C++/java. He should be aware ofsoftware quality techniques and willing to use them.

Knowledge of numerical methods in stochastic programming methods in financewill be appreciated.

The appointment is for one year. The candidate will work under the directionof Xavier Warin, Aline Pajot at EDF and Stephane Vialle, Virginie Galtier atSupelec.

The post is located at Clamart near Paris at EDF research center. Themonthly salary is roughly 2000 euros.
