France: Post-doc Position at the Paris School of Mines
The Ecole des Mines de Paris ( www.ensmp.fr ) is offering a two year post-doctoral position at its geophysical centre located in Fontainebleau (South from Paris). The topic deals with the use of the curvelet/contourlet transform for geophysical applications, more precisely for seismic imaging, also known as migration. The curvelet is a natural extension of the wavelet for multi-dimensional data.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree (e.g. in geophysics, applied maths or electrical engineering) and a clear interest in geophysical applications.
