The Laboratory is specialised in the domain of simulation and complex systems design optimisation. The Laboratory is associated with key collaborative projects within the “System@tic” competitive cluster, and has partnerships with major actors of automotive, aeronautics industries, and software providers in scientific computing domain.
Successful applicant will design and develop scalable algorithms for solving many objective design optimisation problems. The goal of the work is to:
- investigate the strategies for solving many-objective, multi-disciplinary, multilevel optimisation problems
- implement prototypes of selected methods on latest high performance computing platforms like GPGPUs or multi-core architectures.
- validate the methods on industrial usecases proposed by industrial partners
Applicant should have background in computational modeling, numerics and, preferably, system design optimisation. Applicant must demonstrate ability to carry out high-quality research in this domain, proficiency in programming, and ability to work as part of a research team, and to interact with industry research partners.
