Finland: Postdoctoral Research Position at Advanced Surface Technology Research Laboratory
The Advanced Surface Technology Research Laboratory, ASTRaL (Lappeenranta University of Technology) in Mikkeli is seeking:
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER (salary 2.400 – 3.300 e/month)
for fixed term appointments until the end of 2007. The contracts may be extended, depending on further funding.
The area of work will be in thin film deposition and the applications could be in electronic and electrochemical materials, magnetic films or biocompatible materials and may involve collaboration with local companies.
For the postdoctoral position, the applicant should have, or should have submitted his thesis for, a doctoral degree related to thin film technology. Experience of atomic layer deposition would be an advantage.
