The Master on Work, Organizational, and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P) Scholarships for Scholars

The European Commission will deliver 3 scholarships for the2006-2007 academic year. The grant amount for scholars is a fixedamount (1,000 euros a year) and a monthly amount (4,000 euros per monthwith a tota of 3 months per year). Scholarships for scholars are alwayscalculated on a yearly basis, regardless of the length of the MasterCourse.

Without prejudice to the respect ofhigh academic standards, in order to ensure a geographical balanceacross third-country scholars, the consortium has to respect thefollowing basic criterion when selecting third-country scholars:

• eachselected third-country scholar should come from a different country(but they can come from the same countries as students).

In the subsequent years, the consortium will reserve 3 to 4 places for third-country scholars every year.

TheCoordinating Committee of the WOP-P Consortium will propose the bestapplicants from third countries to European Commission scholarships.

Application and selection procedure .

Scholarshave to apply to and be accepted by the WOP-P consortium. They apply tocarry out teaching and research assignments and scholarly work in theinstitutions participating in the course.

Scholarscan apply to the WOP-P consortium on their own initiative or ca beinvited by the WOP-P consortium to apply. They apply for theCoordinating Institution (University of Valencia) indicating theirpreferences (1 st , 2 nd , 3 rd , 4 th option) about the ConsortiumUniversity where they want to collaborate.

• the application form
• an extensive CV, stating publication records, research activities, etc
• certifiedphotocopy of your academic degrees or professional diplomas, and yourprevious teaching experience in the field (seminars, intensive courses,etc)
• language certificates, if available
• document certifying the fiscal residence
• further qualification documents, if appropiate

* Theattached documentation must be presented in English, or must betranslated in English by a sworn translator or by a Diplomaticrepresentative.

Theapplication form and the different documents have to be submitted bypost, and e-mail (scanned) to the Coordinating Institution ( Universityof Valencia ). Original documents have to be provided in due course.

The application deadline for the WOP-P Programme is February 1 st, 2006 .

Theselection of grantees is a competitive process based on the academicperformance and credentials of the candidates, in order to guaranteethe selection of high-quality scholars. So, the following criteriawill be considered: CV, teaching and research experience in the field,knowledge of English, and knowledge of a European language of theConsortium (Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese).

TheCoordinating Committee of the WOP-P Consortium will propose theselected third countries scholars to European Commission scholarships.

Theconsortium will inform to scholars on the selection decision taken bythe Commission. Envisaged date of publication of final result: May 15th, 2006.

The Hosting University of scholarswill be decided by the Coordinating Committee of the Master. It will bebased on their research/professional specialization, taking intoaccount their preferences, the need to obtain a balanced distributionamong partner institutions, and the fluency in the national languagesof the Consortium.
