The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics of the Universitécatholique de Louvain is offering fellowships in microeconomics,operations research and econometrics, starting 1 September 2006, for theacademic year 2006-2007.

CORE fellowships are at the assistant professor level and are open tocandidates below 35 years with some research experience. It is criticalthat candidates have successfully defended their PhD thesis beforearriving on September 1, 2006. Appointments, which are typically for oneyear, but with the possibility of renewal, are research positions ; alight contribution to post-graduate teaching will be required. Netsalary is of the order of 1800 euros per month.

The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics provides fellowswith office space, secretarial assistance, computer and libraryfacilities, assistance in finding suitable accommodation, etc. Moreinformation is available on request, and from http://www.core.ucl.ac.be.

A curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, a copy of thecandidate’s most important publications, and three reference lettersconstitute an application. The reference letters should appraise thecandidate’s research ability and interests.
