The successful applicant will be an analytically strong economist. Sheor he will be expected to contribute actively to the work of theIndonesia Project by undertaking research of international significanceon the Indonesia economy in the context of economic reform and economicdevelopment. She or he will be expected to have first hand researchexperience of Indonesia, and an established record of scholarship,including PhD, or equivalent, and the supervision of graduate students.Demonstrated experience related to the production of an academicjournal, fund raising for research on Indonesia and management of publicconferences on Indonesia is desirable. The successful applicant will beprepared to assume responsibility for the organisation of some IndonesiaProject activities.
