Australia: Postdoc in Electrical Engineering (Signal Processing/Comm/Control)
The University of Newcastle, Australia, is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to support two research projects funded by the Australian Research Council. These projects are entitled “The Interplay of Feedback Control and Digital Communications” and “Space-time and time-frequency applications of improper complex processes” and concern the general areas of signal processing, communications, and control. The positions are located within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field (such as mathematics or statistics) with a proven capacity for high-quality research and an excellent international publication record. Previous research experience in digital communications, statistical signal processing, or control is desirable. The positions are available for up to three years.
