2005-2006 Culinary Scholarship Program Information

* The scholarships listed for the 2005-2006 scholarship cycle are available for degree programs at accredited culinary schools, continuing education courses, advanced specialized study and independent research projects.
* The scholarships are valid for study between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2006 unless otherwise noted in the detail relating to each scholarship award.
* The Culinary Trust’s scholarship program is open to International and U.S. applicants who are beginning and advanced culinary students or career professionals.
* Scholarship selection is based on merit, foodservice work experience, culinary goals and skills and professional references.
* There is a $25.00 USD non-refundable application fee.
* The deadline to receive postmarked applications is December 15, 2004.
* Recipients will be notified in March 2005.

Scholarship Applicant Requirements

Scholarship donors may request additional requirements, please read award details carefully to insure that you qualify as an applicant.
* Applicants must have two years of foodservice experience (either paid or volunteer or a combination of the two)
* Applicants are required to submit a typed written two-page essay (double-spaced)
* Current students must have at 3.0 GPA (or better) and provide a copy of their transcript
* All applicants are required to submit two letters of professional reference on business letterhead
